Point Redemptions & Terminated Employees

Employees who have been terminated may have questions about their balance of WorkTango points. Terminated employees may feel that they have earned their points and that they are still entitled to those points, even after termination of employment.

Platform admins should consider taking one of the following actions to assist terminated employees who raise questions about their platform point balances:

  1. Pay out any remaining point balances in the employee's final paycheck (Recommended)
  2. As long as your organization doesn't use single sign on (SSO), admins can temporarily grant WorkTango access to the employee to place a final rewards order themselves.
  3. An admin can transfer the terminated employee's points to their own account, and then place a rewards order on behalf of the terminated employee using the employee's mailing address and personal email address.
  4. If access to a particular Country Catalog is required in order to fulfill a rewards order on a terminated employee's behalf, please request access to the specific Country Catalog via a Support ticket.

WorkTango's Support team is not able to place orders on behalf of terminated employees due to fraud and security concerns.
