Including up-to-date HRIS data in WorkTango is critical for administrator and employee user experience. Because WorkTango allows you to store many different data points, we built a new tool that allows administrators to choose which columns of data should display on your user management page. This allows you to customize your experience and see the data that’s most important to you. Keep reading to learn how to use the User Management Column Selector.

About User Management Columns

The User Management Column Selector allows administrators to choose up to seven columns they would like to include in the table view. The full list of columns includes:

  • Employee ID
  • Location
  • Manager ID
  • Manager Name
  • Point Rule
  • Points Earned
  • Points to Send
  • Roles
  • Secondary Manager ID
  • Secondary Manager Name
  • Status
  • Title

The columns displayed by default are :

  • User info (Avatar, first name, last name)
  • Title

  • Department

  • Location

  • Points earned

  • Points to send

  • Status

The user info column includes the user’s name and profile picture - this field is required.

How to Configure Columns

Navigate to the user management page and select the 'Modify columns' button.

Clicking this button opens a drawer where you can configure which columns display on the page.

Enable the checkbox next to the columns you want to display on the table. Using the arrows next to the checked columns will determine their display order.  The column order chosen in the editor will display left to right in the table view.  A column cannot be reordered until it is checked.   You can display a maximum of seven columns at one time on the table.

After making your selection, click the Apply button to save your changes. These changes will persist until you edit them again, and they do not need to be updated between logins. If you do not want to save your changes, simply click the Cancel button. If there are multiple administrators in your platform, each person can use the User Management Column Selector to set their own view.

The following columns can be used to sort the table results: Department, Location, Point Rule, Points Earned, Points to Send, Status, Title.
