Action Items bring all of the tasks that require action front and center on your WorkTango home page. It creates a more engaged, inspired and higher performing workforce by making it easy to identify and link to items that need to be completed.
In this guide we will cover everything you need to know about Action Items.
What are Action Items?
Action Items are reminders to complete an action, which appear at the top of your WorkTango home page. Action Items are generated when events that require user action occur. Some examples are: creating a Goal that requires approval, a Feedback request, an Incentive that requires approval to be redeemed, etc.
Depending on certain factors, Action Items may take up to 5 minutes to appear on the homepage.
Outside of the respective module, however, other user-based events can impact Action Items, such as a user’s manager changing, a user being archived, or a role being added.
What features/actions are supported?
Depending on your configuration, you may not have all of the features or functionality mentioned in this section. If you’d like to learn more about enabling any of these, please feel free to reach out.
Action Items supports the following features from the Goals & Feedback suite:
- Goals
- Check-In
- Feedback
As well as the following Recognition & Rewards features:
- Surveys
- Incentives
- Rewards
Each Action Item has a CTA that, when clicked, will bring the user to a page within the platform where they can complete the associated task.
Upon completion of the task, the action will be dismissed from the homepage.
