Shopping in the WorkTango Rewards Marketplace

You've been working hard - getting recognized left and right - and now you've finally saved up enough points to redeem for a reward (woo hoo!). So... now what?

Follow the steps below in this guide that will walk you through the process of browsing, selecting, and redeeming for the perfect WorkTango reward.

Depending on your organization's unique setup, you may have the option to redeem for both Company Rewards (that are unique to your organization) and rewards from the WorkTango Rewards Marketplace. This guide will walk you through the WorkTango Rewards Marketplace. For more information on redeeming for Company Rewards, please see the WorkTango Company Rewards User Guide.

Accessing the Rewards Marketplace

To get started, navigate to the Rewards Marketplace. If you are on the WorkTango web app, you can access this by clicking “Rewards”in the left navigation and selecting the Rewards Marketplace tab.

If you are using the WorkTango mobile app, get started by clicking the “Rewards” icon in the bottom navigation and open the Global catalog.

If your organization does not utilize Company Rewards, you will be taken directly to the WorkTango Rewards Marketplace. Once you arrive in the Rewards Marketplace, you will land on the home page, pictured below. Now it's time to shop!

Browsing the Marketplace

Not too sure what you want to spend your points on? You can browse all rewards by clicking any of the featured categories, or by clicking the “Shop” menu in the top left corner.


After clicking “Shop,” all available reward categories will appear on the top of the screen. Depending on your marketplace setup, you may see categories like Merchandise, Gift Cards, Charity, and “Buy Points to Spend.” Click into any category to browse your options.

Searching the Marketplace

Know exactly what you’d like to purchase with your Points? Use the bar at the top of your screen to search for your reward.

Be sure to search within the correct category using the dropdown menu to the right of the search bar. For example, if you are searching for an Amazon gift card, be sure to select “Gift Cards” from the dropdown menu prior to pressing the “Search” button.

Adding Rewards to Your Cart

Once you decide on a reward, you will be able to add it to your cart from the item screen. If desired, you may adjust the quantity you would like to add to your cart, or the denomination of your selected gift card.

Cart button.pngWhen you are finished shopping for rewards, you may proceed to checkout. To begin, click the shopping cart icon in the upper right corner of the screen. 

Review your cart before continuing to checkout. You may adjust quantities of rewards in your cart or remove them entirely. When you are satisfied with the contents of your cart, click “Continue.”


The next screen in the checkout process will prompt you for contact information, as well as a shipping address.

This is a required step, even if your reward will not be physically shipped to you (such as a digital gift card). Regardless, you must complete this section before clicking “Continue” to proceed to the next step.

You will have one final opportunity to review your order. When you are ready, click the “Check out” button to finalize your purchase.

What happens next?

Once you click “Check out,” you will land on an Order Confirmation page. You may print this page for your records if you would like, but all of this information will be stored in your rewards account. After this, next steps will vary based on the type of reward you selected:

  • Digital Rewards: Rewards that are delivered digitally to your email. This includes most gift cards.
  • Physical Rewards: Rewards that are shipped to your address. This includes most merchandise.
