IT Professional Note: Enabling WorkTango with SSO<>
Microsoft Teams utilizes an iframe to render WorkTango content in the Tab. When a user is logged out of WorkTango and their organization utilizes SSO (Single Sign-On), WorkTango redirects to the SSO provider. The SSO page rendered within MS Teams must not include headers (e.g., X-Frame-Options) that block iframing.
Most SSO providers disable iframing by default but allow you to add trusted sources. You may see the documentation for some common providers below:
- Okta: Trusted Origins for iFrame embedding
- AD FS: Customize HTTP security response headers with AD FS
Troubleshooting common errors
Error: Cannot upload the app during installation
You do not have the correct level of access in Teams to perform this operation. The person configuring the integration needs full administrative rights in both Microsoft Teams and WorkTango. If your IT administrator is not a WorkTango administrator, grant them these privileges temporarily for the setup, then remove them once complete.

Your Teams app security permissions are likely restricting end-user access. WorkTango is not responsible for Microsoft security settings and cannot view them.
