Browser Settings (Third-Party Cookies, Pop-Ups, and Redirects)

Supported Browsers

Always keep your browser updated to its most recent version to make sure your WorkTango platform runs smoothly.

To see what browser you are using and check if your browser needs an update, navigate to https://www.whatismybrowser.com/.

As of Oct 8, 2021, WorkTango will no longer support Internet Explorer 11. Microsoft’s new chromium based Edge browser will be supported going forward.

Browser Settings

To ensure functionality of the WorkTango web application, please make the following adjustments to your browser settings. This includes cookies, pop-up, and redirect settings.

• Cookie Settings

  In Chrome, “Block third-party cookies” should be disabled. To review this setting:

  1. Navigate to Settings/Preferences in your Chrome menu

  2. Select “Privacy and security” from the navigation

  

  
  3. Click “Cookies and other site data” 

  

  4. Ensure “Block third-party cookies” is not selected 
  

  Pop-Up and Redirect Settings

  1. Access Preferences (Chrome menu)
  2. Click on Privacy and security
  3. Scroll to Pop-ups and redirects
  4. Click the arrow to expand
  5. Click Add for the Allow section
  6. Add the following:
     • kazoohr.com%20 
     • youearnedit.com%20 

• Cookie Settings

  In Chrome, your “Block third-party cookies” setting may not carry over to an Incognito browser window.

  If you are having trouble when in a Chrome Incognito window, please restart the session, and ensure the dedicated toggle for “Block third-party cookies” within the browser window is OFF.

  

• Cookie Settings

  In Safari, “Prevent cross-site tracking” should be disabled. To check this setting:

  1. Navigate to Preferences in your Safari menu
  2. Select the tab for “Privacy”
  3. Ensure “Prevent cross-site tracking” is not checked

  

  Pop-Up and Redirect Settings

  1. Access Preferences (Safari menu)
  2. You must have the following tabs open in your browser session to populate the list:
     • https://youearnedit.com 
     • https://kazoohr.com 
     • https://worktango.com 
  3. Click on Pop-up Windows (on the websites tab if it doesn’t default to that tab)
  4. In the Currently Open Websites section, click the dropdown for each of the sites we’ve listed here to Allow

• It is not recommended to view the WorkTango web application on narrow screens, such as the web browser on your iPhone. However you may want to interact with the WorkTango web application on other iOS devices, like an iPad.

  Cookie Settings

  Please check the following settings in your iOS Safari browser:

  1. On your device, navigate to Settings, then click Safari
  2. Scroll down to the section “Privacy & Security”
  3. Ensure “Prevent cross-site tracking” is not checked 

  

   

The default browser settings in Firefox are optimal for the WorkTango web application. Please only take the following steps if you have made advanced changes to your browser settings in the past.

Cookie Settings

To check your settings:

1. Navigate to Preferences in your Firefox menu
2. Select “Privacy & Security” from the left navigation

3. Under “Enhanced Tracking Protection”, you will see three options: Standard, Strict, and Custom.

• If Standard or Strict are selected, no further action is needed
• If Custom is selected, please ensure the following are NOT SELECTED:
  • Cookies > All Third Party Cookies (may cause websites to break)
  • Cookies > All Cookies (will cause websites to break) 

Pop-Up and Redirect Settings

1. Access Preferences (Firefox menu)
2. Click on Privacy & Security
3. Scroll to Block pop-up windows
4. Click on Exceptions (may say settings)
5. Add the following website addresses and save changes:
   • https://youearnedit.com 
   • https://kazoohr.com
   • https://worktango.com

A: The WorkTango platform is compatible with Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and MS Edge. For the best user experience, we recommend using the most recent software version.
