A small but mighty part of our Recognition & Rewards solution, WorkTango's Announcements feature allows you to easily create and schedule announcements regarding company initiatives, reminders, upcoming events, or any other important information directly within the platform.
Create an Announcement
To get started, navigate to the Admin dashboard by clicking the icon in the upper right corner of the WorkTango homepage. Once on the Admin dashboard, select “Announcements” under the Communication tab. Click on “Create New Announcement” to pull up the creation form. On this form, enter the text for the announcement and schedule the date and time it will be posted in WorkTango.
The newly published announcement will show in the Announcements widget in the upper right corner of the homepage. Employees can dismiss the announcement once they've read it.
Neither email nor platform notifications are sent for new announcements.
