Data Calculations

While having great data is essential for gauging your employee engagement, we recognize that it is equally important to understand where the data is coming from. We have provided guidance as to how each data point is calculated in our system.

In order to view this information for a dashboard, simply click on the 'Dashboard info' button at the top right corner of the dashboard. This will open a guide explaining the calculations behind each data point.

Data Visualization

Within the WorkTango Dashboards, there are three main types of data visualization patterns: headline charts, line charts, and bar charts.

Headline Charts

Headline charts show a single data point within a dashboard. These types of data points typically show an average or % cumulative number value.

Line Charts

Line charts show one or more data points compared over a time period.

When hovering over the line chart in the bottom left corner, users have the ability to increase or decrease the time granularity of the chart.

Hovering over the data points will provide additional contextual information.
