Enabling the GIPHY Integration for Recognitions

WorkTango's new GIPHY Integration allows your employees to easily add GIFs to any Recognition.

To enable this feature, go to your Admin dashboard and follow the steps below.

1. Navigate to the Recognition Settings tab under "Company preferences" in the Recognition & Rewards section of the left side navigation panel.
2. Toggle on the GIPHY Integration to allow GIPHY to integrate with Recognition.     
3. Choose a company-wide content rating of G, PG, or PG-13, based on your company's preference and culture.
4. The default search term will determine which GIFs will display in the dropdown automatically as a preview of available GIFs. 
   By default, this will be set as "Thanks", but can be updated and changed at any time by Admins. For example, you may want to change this seasonally for special occasions and holidays (such as "Thankful" around Thanksgiving, or "Boss" around Boss's Day, etc.)
5. Click "Save settings" to save your selections. 

GIFs displaying as links in the Activity feed?
Don't worry! This can be easily fixed by ensuring you have enabled expanded media in the platform.

To do so, go to the Activity Feed tab in the Admin dashboard and select "Display Settings." From this page, you should see the option to toggle on Expanded media.
